Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at Prayas Art & Gallery. Our policy lasts 10 days from the date of delivery. If 10 days have passed since your item was delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • It must be packed securely in the original packaging and with all original materials.
  • A valid receipt or proof of purchase must be provided.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Returns are not accepted for the following:

  • Custom-made or commissioned artworks.
  • Gift cards and digital downloads.
  • Items damaged due to mishandling after delivery.
  • Perishable goods, personal care items, or hazardous materials.

3. Artwork Authenticity

All artworks shipped from Prayas Art & Gallery are genuine and may include certificates of authenticity. Returns based solely on personal taste or style preference will not be accepted once the item is dispatched.

4. Visual Evidence Requirement

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please provide:

  • Photos of the outer packaging.
  • Clear images of the damaged area and the complete item.
  • Any visible defects or discrepancies.

Email us these images within 3 days of delivery to initiate the return review.

5. Return Approval Process

Returns must be approved by our team before shipping the item back. You will receive a return address and instructions upon approval.

6. Refund Process

  • Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll be notified via email regarding approval or rejection.
  • Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.
  • The amount will be credited to your original payment method.

7. Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

Partial refunds may be granted for:

  • Artworks showing signs of wear or returned in damaged condition not caused by us.
  • Returns initiated after the 10-day window.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

  • Check your bank account or payment source again.
  • Contact your credit card provider—it may take time for the refund to reflect.

9. Sale Items

Only regular priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded.

10. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email [email protected] and send the item to:

11. Gift Returns

  • If marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit upon return.
  • If not marked as a gift, refunds will be sent to the original purchaser.

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error.
  • If a refund is granted, return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
